Producing Skills and Strategies for Mission Critical Projects
Learning Programmes designed to produce Team Effectiveness, Goal Alignment, and Clarity of Communication
What Is Accomplished When companies win key contracts there is a critical need to align team members and stake holders around the team’s mission, (reason for its existence), values, (what's important), and strategy (agreed upon plan of action). Just as crucial is the building of open lines of communication, trust and flexible teaming strategies that will continue throughout the life of the programme.
The All Ireland Activities teambuilding programme is designed specifically to deliver a set of experiences that function as the critical boost that projects need in order to produce a future that is not inevitable.
Building trust, enhancing interpersonal competence, comm unication, support and acknowledgment at the kickoff and during various stages of the project is the purpose of the All Ireland Activities team development programmes.
Aligning team objectives sets the stage for years of successful project outcomes!
Outcomes - Producing Results Effective and productive teams who demonstrate commitment and cooperation in performance have learned to operate at this level by participating in activities which define and support a unified vision, develop trust and clarify roles and responsibilities.
Within a framework of experientially-based individual and group interactions, team members participate in “learning-by-doing” activities that connect and enrich their problem-solving and decision-making capabilities resulting in the maximum in productivity.
Objectives Create an environment of collaborative partnership among suppliers, multiple customers, sub- contractors and team members Strengthen commitment to purpose and direction - Bond diverse team members - Clarify roles and lines of responsibility Assess the important issues teams face - Provide forums for honest, productive and lasting communication Practice styles of leadership, problem solving and decision-making real time by creating models of working situations
Programme Design Step 1 - An assessment of the important issues is conducted in order to prioritize the goals of the programme. Leaders and programme managers outline the desired programme objectives. Team members are interviewed to clarify issues and concerns.
Step 2 - Programme presentation consist of an introductory session and 2, 3, or 4 days of team interactive sessions establishing effective and sustainable team development. Teambuilding development programmes are presented both onsite and in offsite retreat settings throughout Ireland and in international settings.
The work done at the offsite will essentially insure that the diverse team members, stake holders/customers meet face to face, build trust-based relationships, and voice common concerns which set the stage for working strategies based on clarity and accountability.
Step 3 - The closing session clarifies the team learning, values and commitments to action. Graphic illustration sessions are used to transfer next step actions and goals. The standard comment on the evaluations at the end of this programme is always "I wish we had invited all the key players and stake holders!"
It is better to have one person working with you than three people working for you. Dwight D. Eisenhower
